P1: Rand’s “Code of the Creator”
Rand held that morality isn’t a set of duties we must conform to, but a code of values that teaches us how fully to live and enjoy our lives. In this talk Gregory Salmieri, will explore this view, emphasizing the idea that a moral life is one focused on a rationally chosen, productive purpose, and that it involves interacting with others as trader rather than a victim or a victimizer.
